Books, to me are a place where one can attain knowledge and increase their knowing of the universe. Also, books express the feelings of the author and entertain people. They are a large part of my life because I use them everyday to entertain myself and to use in school to gain knowledge.
Books are like an escape for me because you get to almost experience life in the perspective of someone else, which is something that not many things can do. Sure, television could arguably be like experiencing the life of someone else, however, you aren't inside their head, you don't get to feel how they feel. Also, sometimes when I read books, they can just take over my emotions in a way unlike anything else.

Book play a major role in my life, mainly because reading fills up my free time. Certain books have changed my life, politics and certain ideas.
I read a lot of fiction books. Imagination is required, and that's what makes it worthwhile.
