This book is written in such an interesting way. I have never read a book in which death is the narrator. I believe that this quality of the book gives it an unique and very unusual twist.
I also agree with Kate. The beginning was confusing becuase I didn't know that death was the narrator. I had to go back and read it again. I think the integration of German in the book makes it more authentic and interesting. I also like Markus Zusak's style of writing and his unique descriptions of life back then.

I agree with Kate, it is a very interesting way to read the story, and made me think of the world from a different view point.
